“100% Pure Makeup” Review

Switching to cleaner and more transparent (ingredients list) products has been an ongoing process at our house. Switching makeup brands felt overwhelming to me since it’s not cheap and I was worried I wouldn’t like a different brand – which is why it was one of the last things I tackled. 

After reading a lot of reviews I decided to try 100% Pure and I’m so happy I did! They use animal cruelty free products not sourced from animals and use naturally pigmented products which therefore avoid heavy metals. Their products include a 45 day return policy even if partly used which is a nice backup as well.

An ingredient or formula composed of plant, mineral, and/or marine vegetation that undergoes chemical changes due to biological processes such as fermentation, distillation, and cold processing”

They have an extensive line of products besides makeup. This includes hand sanitizers, body scrubs, face masks, lip balms, hair shampoo and conditioners, body wash, moisturizing creams, sunscreen, essential oils and more. My only frustration has been that some of the popular items sell out and I have to wait to get the color or product that I want. 

I am fairly basic in regards to my makeup routine and will review the products from them that I have tried so far.

1. All Over Glow – lightly sun kissed

This is a light in weight and color bronzing liquid, I use this almost daily for just a quick face brightening application.

2. Fruit Pigmented Blush – Plum

There are several color options and this one shows up well on the skin – nicely pigmented and in a compact.

3. Ultra Lengthening Mascara – black tea

I really like this mascara – the applicator allows it to go on smoothly without clumping and actually smells slightly fruity. It is easily removed when washing my face at night.

4. Creamy Long Last Liner – blackest

Easy to apply eyeliner does the job well.

5. Fruit Pigmented Long Last Concealer – alpine rose

This is a nice concealer in a compact that does offer decent coverage. While it does the job it is not my favorite – see below!

6. Fruit Pigmented 2nd Skin Concealer – shade 1

This concealer is one of the more popular items they have and for good reason. It is a liquid with an applicator wand, goes on well and offers good coverage where applied. Generally I use the bronzer and this concealer as needed for my daily routine.

I have enjoyed trying out this new to me line because really everything has been a winner and at an affordable price.
